FWIW: Just noticed the wording if The Indies begging subscription appeal. Astonising! Quote (inc bold type): "We'll tell you what is true. You can form your own view. In a world of lies ans Brexit spin,turn to a truly independent source...Subscribe now." i.e. if you form a different view you are an idiot, possibly a dangerous one who should be locked up /extradicted... Not we'll give you all sides of the arguement (& our opinion), and you can form your own view. For the MSM there is only one truth, their truth (that of their owners. How arrogant and totalitarian - Orwell would love this one as a placque at the Ministry! |
