It did finally, though briefly, mention the OPCW leaked report in it's headlines yesterday, probably as a result of pressure. Today it chose to go more "in depth" with an ex Guardian hack who distinguished himself as its middle east editor by consistently parrotting establishment propaganda on Syria and denouncing real journalists like Beeley and Bartlett who wouldn't toe the line. There is a very funny and revealing moment when Nermeen Shaikh actually asks a good, though apparently unexpected, question about the media/Guardian blackout of the report: And, Brian, in your view, do you think the OPCW would suppress information for political reasons from its reports, this Douma report in particular? And second, what do you think explains the fact that very few media have covered this internal document at all, including your former—The Guardian, where you worked for many years?
