Corbyn is, if anything, a passionate Labour Party (old style) loyalist, to the core of his being. Paradoxically this was his greatest asset, what propelled him to 'power'; and, his greatest weakness too. He was always going to be a transitory leader, until the 'dead left' produced somebody younger and better... that'll be a long, long, wait. Pity the poor and downtrodden.
Corbyn's 'luck' ran out almost as soon as he was elected leader, though Treason May calliing a snap election saved him, for a while because of May's massive miscalculation that the media really reflected public opinion.
Anyway, the entire political system is now in full-on meltdown mode, which is 'interesting times' as the Chinese say. Too 'interesting' I fear.
Everything, even big, old, political parties, falls apart eventually, and perhaps the time has come for both Labour and the Tories to exit history's stage and new parties emerge?
