On the BBC World Service this morning they had an interview with a guy called Hamish Debretton Stuart. It was a bit confusing, deliberately so, I'd contend. I thought they were going to talk to a Doctor working at a hospital inside 'rebel controlled' Idlib. That's the impression I got. So I was surprised when this guy Stuart turned up instead! I couldn't figure out if he was actually inside the Idlib enclave or not. Funny how they can be so imprecise when they choose to, isn't it? Anyway he launched into a long rant about the systematic attacks by the Assad regime and the Russians, using precision guided rockets, on all the hospitals in the enclave, a tactic designed to demoralise the fighter and the people... three million of them being slaughtered under a hail of bombs and shrapnel... take a breath Hamish! Stuart wasn't questioned about how exactly he knew all this stuff, probably because one doesn't question someone who's a expert on conditions inside Syria. I felt this was an extraordinary piece of blatant propaganda presented by the BBC, aimed at demonising the both the Russians and the Syrian government, who weren't allowed to respond.
