I have no idea who Idrees Ahmed is, but his utterances show precisely what I've referred to on other occassions. What matters isn't the content of the information or texts themselves, but, rather the name or identity of the platform they are presented on. RT is 'Bad' and the Kremlin's premier propaganda network, therefore the information is 'Bad' too and not true, and this is without actually bothering to examine the information itself. Once again the triumph of the superficial over real content. Identity politics, all over again. The intellectual plague of the left and liberals. That this Idrees Ahmed can apparently be so ignorant and conceited, yet have a position of influence and not understand the basics about the nature of 'pyschologica torture', is stunning, though not surprising.
