I don't get it. I regret to this day that Campbell was invited to an arts/literature festival in my town and, though I wrote a letter to the local rag objecting to this war criminal being part of the council-supported programme, I didn't go to the actual event and stand up and protest in the middle of his oration. Or ask him a question, such as: "Do you think your well-publicised depression, Mr Campbell, might be partly due to the fact that you have the blood of (at least) one million Iraqi men, women and children on your hands? I mean, how do you manage to sleep at night and look yourself in the mirror the next morning? Don't you flinch?" I should have done it. Regretfully I chickened out.
