So from what one can glean, Assange's aged father John Shipton has travelled from Australia to UK to see his son, for which he has a pre-booked time slot... and then finds there's a "double-booking" because doctors are making an emergency visit, so he's not allowed in. Either they're messing with him - because doctors could have visited at any other time. Or it's a genuine and urgent emergency, which is also worrying. The prison leak strikes me as slightly odd. On one hand you "can't sneeze" inside Belmarsh it's so tightly policed... or the other hand the American "Cassandra" can apparently conduct an hour-long mobile phone call with a prisoner, almost painting an "upbeat" picture of Assange, "smiling" at letters, surrounded by friendly prisoners? Important to note that the interview was conducted BEFORE he was admitted to the prison medical ward, a week ago. The photos (especially one taken from the back) are unmistakable evidence of a man who looks terribly, unhealthily thin. More-or-less sudden and dramatic weight loss is never a good medical sign ... and in itself it also leads to other domino-effect issues - as diabetics and anorexics discover. These photographs are surely enough evidence for Red Cross International Doctors to demand immediate access to assess Assange's health?
