Canary wobbling a bit there, onto the 'blame Syrian gov. equally with its attackers' line; and quote Archived Message

Robert Fisk saying that all actors are equally guilty. What, chemical attacks by the Syrian gov. forces and the Russians? Really? Equal culpability? Even radical dissident news outfits feel compelled to do virtue-signalling tropes, it seems. A cleaner stance towards strict justice would say that since all governments get up to villainies as part of their stock in trade, it would be surprising if the Syrian and Russian governments were lillywhite innocents. But... Since we in the West have virtually nothing with which to judge them, apart from the endless mind-sewage flood of the Permanent Bullshit Blizzard - which contaminates ALL our minds, without exception - then the only meticulous position to take is that we have near-zero actually-reliable evidence about the record of the two governments in this war; but the presumption has to be in their favour, in principle, since it's they who are fighting off a vicious unprovoked criminal aggression by the Western states who also produce the PBB.
