China is the world's factory, where oligarchs off-shored the bulk of U.S. industry for cheap labour and to flood the Global Market with cheap goods. Trump allegedly wants to reclaim and restore U.S. domestic industry and economic sovereignty. Meanwhile, previous democratic administrations encircled China in their Pivot to Asia. The situation is a mess, and is far more complex than this one-sided and ideologically shallow article would suggest. turtleman |
