I think the last sentence from MP creates the inference of US interference in our elections v JC Archived Message

'We won’t wait for him to do those things to begin to push back. We will do our level best. It’s too risky and too important and too hard once it’s already happened.'
here's what J Cook says by inserting words in brackets:
    "Jonathan Cook
    ‏ @Jonathan_K_Cook

Here's what Pompeo says: 'We won’t wait for him to do those things [get elected] to begin to push back. We will do our level best. It’s too risky and too important and too hard once it’s already happened.'"

as I have commented earlier - I don't think we should just put words into Pompeo's mouth and shout gotcha.

MP replied to question whether the US would help the UK jewish community [to take on actions]if JC acted against them ONCE HE IS ELECTED:
if Corbyn “is elected, would you be willing to work with us to take on actions if life becomes very difficult for Jews in the U.K.?”

Answer : " You should know, we won’t wait for him to do those things to begin to push back. We will do our level best,

“It’s too risky and too important and too hard once it’s already happened.”

Having looked at this again it seems to me that you could claim MP was referring to JC's election when he says "once it's [ JC's election] already happened" and on that basis I would reverse my earlier comments. I do think in the last sentence MP is threatening to stop JC becoming our next PM - there remains slight wriggle room for PM by saying that the "it's" in the last sentence referred to "life becoming very difficult for Jews in the UK". Until MP clarifies we should assume the worst.

J Cook is right in pointing out that the US elephant could already be doing everything possible to reduce JC's chances to become PM.
We have of course assumed this would be the case.

    cheers
