    It gets funnier every time but still not quite as funny as John Preston's dry factual book on the Thorpe/Scott trial. It seems there is no appeal procedure against amazingly and flagrantly biased utterances from the Bench. There has to be misdirection on a point of law. But such outbreaks tell the public who these judges are. Blair must have know Hutton's prejudices when he appointed him to run the Hutton Enquiry, but most of us did not know his name.

    District Judge Michael Snow was sore offended on behalf of his superior Senior District Judge Emma Arbuthnot, who he said had been "traduced" by a suggested conflict of interest. Snow will be remembered for relaying to his courtroom the common newspaper gossip that Assange was a "narcissist". The Judge for the February hearing has yet to be appointed. I hope he has some biography
