It's a sign of the times that an utter mediocrity (essentially a pub bore) like Carl Benjamin can rise to a position of influence within the cultural sphere and even run to be an MEP. I believe a similar dynamic was at work in Germany between the wars, although Benjamin can't hold a candle to a true talent like Adolf Hitler. It's to be expected as the centre breaks down and people flee to the extremes for certainty in the confusion, but still depressing to witness. I'm somewhat surprised at the level of your approbrium (although not that much, my comment was aimed at you) as the narrator is largely on 'your side' and the hyperbolic nature of the narration is intentional; everyone gets a bit of a kicking, however Sargon is such a buffoon that, as the narrator expresses in the summation, he's even ruining everything for the people who should be his aliies. As for why, my time is mine to waste as I see fit and no one is being forced to watch the video. Your opinion is of course your own and you're entitled to it. What lord?
