    gloomy, chaotic farces, as the fracking ponzi-eurs have their gangster-capitalist faces rubbed in it until they cry uncle: There is no future to fracking, because there's no financial profit, in turn because the EROEI of the whole racket is too low to be viable.

    Doubtless the chancers of the bizniz world will go on trying to buck these physical realities, but I don't think they're going to get far - or do too much extensive damage - before physics-driven bizniz losses swat them down conclusively. US fracking has made zero profits for its operators over its whole life to date; just ever-increasing debts - never to be repaid, of course - and these on an industry whose likely total lifetime from here forward will be measured in months rather than decades.

    So, at any rate, say the inevitable plummetting flow rates of each new well drilled, coming on almost at once; drilling new wells as fast as you can just to stay where you are - and failing; sweet spots drilled dry almost everywhere already...

    Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of vandals.
