Oh wait, according to Moon of Alabama, the Times did at least have a brief reference to Gabbard's performance. So TRNN and CNN share first prize in the Memory Hole competition for their coverage of the debate which, according to some polls, was won by the disappeared candidate. https://therealnews.com/series/first-democratic-debate Nils Melzer also seems to have fallen into TRNN's memory hole, despite their having been pretty good in the past covering Assange. I wrote them about this and though I got no response, they did subsequently have a very brief interview with Pilger, too little too late imo, given the length of time that had elapsed since they had had a piece on Assange despite numerous developments. I hope these are just glitches or oversights, but they are a bit worrying. |
