    .. Which I get- I understand that the subject of rape is an emotive one- some women have actually been raped. What I don't like is emotional reactions to facts and the thinking that it trumps the facts. It does not, nor should it. It tends to have the effect of drowning out the detail in favour of the emotive response and can turn victims into tyrants in the process.

    The only correct response it would seem for this man to have made was 'bloody rapists. Tsk!'. Which leaves Assange between a rock and a hard place, since we know the wrong kind of female support for actual facts (Anderson) is also wrong. The responses I read earlier shut argument down that supports the wrong outcome. How convenient.
