Anybody watching the third series of 'Stranger Things'? My kids love it (that's my excuse) and although only half way through: Soviet scum - check! Evil empire - check! Murderous psycopaths - check! Capitalism good, Communism bad - check! Shonky technology - check! Monotone threatening voices - check! Like I said, only half way through and tonight a seemingly sympathetic Russian was introduced and nicknamed Smirnoff (probably turn out he was being held against his will and is gagging to defect!) and it is set in the 80s, but still. Anyway, fantastic that it is out right now... |
