In today's version of 'Newspeak", Margaret Hodge calls for 'independent' body for AS claimsArchived Message

Right on cue and following Gordon Brown's intervention in Labour's anti-semitism 'crisis', I see 'The Observer' has Margaret Hodge saying that what is needed is a new 'independent' body to deal with anti-Semitism claims. This new body will not be subject to political interference which, she alleges, is stopping genuine investigations.
Mmmmmm, anyone else feeling this is '1984' redux, where language is being constantly re-written?
'Independent' - a body affiliated to the British Board of Deputies. 'Political interference' - anybody who is anybody in Labour's hierarchy asking for evidence of anti-semitic intent.
