... but will he? I admire Corbyn a lot, as you all know. But his quiet sanity, whilst very admirable, isn't allowing him to put a more obvious political stake in the ground. He doesn't need to shout, but for instance his inability to say much about Assange, other than that he should not be extradited to the USA, is disappointing. Assange should have been an opportunity to start putting that stake firmly in the ground. So should have been a more firm defence of his own party in the face of groundless anti-semitism smears. For instance, Hunt's appalling comments should have produced a much larger defensive reaction than it has. But thanks John, an excellent summary of the crisis of the failure of reason and truth in the UK.
