I don't know about the people in EHRC particularly (i guess it's a mix of blairite/cameronite satraps), but i assume it will come back with the answer the establishment desires - ie it'll crap on labour and give hodge et al the ammo they're after. I just can;t imagine it's independent enough to give labour any sort of pass.
The same with the idea of an 'independent process' to oversee complaints mooted on marr this morning - which official likely to have this job (judges/barristers etc) could really be trusted to be independent? (rather, like the reith quote, they'd be trusted not to be impartial)
