    Great piece George. You must have been a fly on the wall in that canteen to have described the exchange between Fraudian luminaries on Steve Bell as you did. That's exactly as it must have been! :o)

    Just in case you have yet to publish it elsewhere, I did notice a couple of typos:

(I was thinking that instead of "its success", "its subject matter" might be more apropos.)

    That episode must have taught Bell that the hunt for witches [as] a hunt for tropes.
