    The second debate for democratic candidates rumbled round again and CNN decided to turn it into an ambush against progressives. Amazingly The Intercept is the only source I've seen reporting it accurately:

    It clearly backfired as Sanders and Warren were allowed to explain their ideas and along the way dropped some bodies with made for Twitter soundbites (so much so that John Delaney's Wiki page was edited to include his "death" at the hands of Elizabeth Warren)

    The progressive Democratic presidential frontrunners Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren faced fierce challenges on Tuesday from moderate candidates who contended the party was lurching too “far left” to wrench the White House from Donald Trump’s grasp in 2020.

    In the first of two nights of debate between Democratic candidates in Detroit, Sanders and Warren teamed up to defend their overlapping platforms on issues such as universal healthcare and immigration, which were swiftly contested by the party’s centrists.

    The former Maryland congressman John Delaney, who has been struggling to cut through in polling, came out swinging by accusing Warren and Sanders of promising “bad policies” that, in his words, amounted to “free everything and impossible promises that will turn off independent voters and get Trump re-elected”.

    The first statement is given to the candidate who fared so badly that social media lit up with calls for him to drop out of the race but the fraud gives him the first quote. It goes on in a similar fashion, burying all the excellent answers Sanders and Warren gave and at no point taking CNN to task for their horrendous, corporate friendly, anti-progressive set up.

    Lolol. You can hear the groan in the crowd when Jake the fake Tapper tries to stop him drawing attention to the fact that big healthcare are advertising on the CNN debate show.

    As bad as the fraud's coverage is, you STILL have to hunt around for that article. It's not even on the front page of the US Election 2020 section and there are a LOT of pieces in there including a massive puff piece for the crystal sniffing wooo merchant Marianne Williamson.

    Biden on the other hand gets top of the front page with fawning headlines:

    Apparently, people calling his record into question and asking him questions is targeting. Meanwhile, in the other debate the host broadcaster sets up its entire show as a way to attack the progressive candidates and they don't mention it at all.

    It's no surprise that the supposedly random draws never pair Sanders and Warren with Harris and Biden. Can't have the public seeing the DNC's emperors have no clothes, can we?
