So who would you like to replace him if he finally resigns as a result of all the back biting? I hope he doesn't. Tom Watson? He's on a bicycle at the weekend in the Ride London event, having shed multiple stones and on a fitness kick. AKA 'Fatberg Slim' apparently. A member of Trade Unions Friends of Israel incidentally and in receipt of very large donations from the likes of Sir David Garrard (In 2013, Garrard hosted a visit to Israel by eleven Labour MPs, including shadow defence secretary Jim Murphy, shadow defence minister Gemma Doyle, Labour Friends of Israel chair Anne McGuire and vice-chair Louise Ellman. He also sponsored the 2014 Labour Friends of Israel annual lunch, which included a speech by Labour leader Ed Miliband. In 2014, Garrard donated £500,000 to the Labour party, one of the largest private donations under Ed Miliband's leadership. This prompted criticism of "double standards" when the media reported that Garrard had placed shares in an offshore trust to avoid tax, similar to Conservative donor and co-treasurer Lord Fink, whom Labour had criticised) and Sir Trevor Chinn (Jewish Leadership Council). Look those two up. Also received £70,000 (from memory) from the Trades Unions. Compare his voting record to JC's. 'How Tom Watson voted on Foreign Policy and Defence # Generally voted for use of UK military forces in combat operations overseas. Consistently voted for the Iraq war. Consistently voted against investigations into the Iraq war. Generally voted for replacing Trident with a new nuclear weapons system. Generally voted for more EU integration. Voted a mixture of for and against a referendum on the UK's membership of the EU. All details on https://www.theyworkforyou.com/mp/11309/tom_watson/west_bromwich_east#register
