Aren't The Guardian and Observer read by politicians, think-tankers, NGOs, identity politics-focused groups, jet-set travellers, Oxbridge types, theatre-goers, car buyers, fans of witty writing, empty nesters, etc? The Guardian describes its readership as "educated middle class". What would 'violent extremists' draw from these rather dull newspapers which aren't really 'left' anyway but have drifted rightwards, with the shifting of the Overton Window? Doesn't make sense...
