    Pandering puff piece on Maxwell Archived Message

    These are the opening paragraph and it doesn't improve much:

    At one time, everyone knew where to find Ghislaine Maxwell. The former aide-de-camp of the disgraced, now deceased, billionaire Jeffrey Epstein was a fixture in Manhattan’s most fashionable salons. With an impressive list of contacts, including Prince Andrew and Chelsea Clinton, she was a regular at fundraisers, book launches and society weddings.

    The last place anyone would have expected to see her was a Los Angeles shopping mall, where the 57-year-old was photographed in a burger joint last week, just days after Epstein’s suicide in a New York jail, where he was being held on charges of sex trafficking underage girls.

    Amid some speculation as to whether the photograph may have been staged, and with mystery still surrounding her whereabouts, one thing is undeniable: for the second time, Ghislaine’s life has been turned upside down by the death of a controversial and powerful man.

    Ahh bless, poor her. It's all about her life being "turned upside down" not the girls she forced into being raped for, and by, Epstein.

    Also, the In and Out Burger photo-op was so clearly staged it might as well have been advertised beforehand but in fraudian-speak that's "some speculation".

    The rest of the article dips a toe into the sordid story of her old man but this being the fraudian makes sure not to ask any real questions or dig too deeply.

    His death on 5 November 1991 shocked the country. Shock turned to anger within weeks when a £460m hole was discovered in the pension funds of his companies. A borrower of unimaginable scale, he had illegally raided the funds to prop up his empire, which was on the brink of collapse. Headlines such as The Man Who Saved the Mirror were swiftly replaced by Maxwell: The
    Robber.

    "A borrower of unimaginable scale"??? Seriously? He was a THIEF. A CROOK. He STOLE the money. Such mealy-mouthed tip-toeing around by the fraudian.

    Throughout his life, he was a good friend to Israel, investing heavily in publishing, pharmaceutical and computer firms in the country. He met accusations he was an Israeli spy with furious denials and legal threats. Such speculation was fanned again after his death, when he was accorded almost a state funeral in Israel, attended by the prime minister, Yitzhak Shamir, and the president, Chaim Herzog, and buried in Jerusalem on the Mount of Olives. Conspiracy theorists have claimed that Mossad killed him because Israel refused him a loan and he threatened to retaliate.

    Not one mention of the Promis scandal which was the most clear cooperation of Maxwell with Mossad. No mention of all the other former Prime Ministers of Israel at his funeral (six of them I believe) along with heads of Mossad and Shin Bet, past and present which made it a full state funeral. No mention of the quote from the service "He did more for Israel than can be said here" which clearly shows he did "something" for them but here the fraudian makes that into "investing heavily in publishing, pharmaceutical and computer firms in the country"

    There are lots of attempted tear-jerk moments all the way through the piece and it seems clear to me that it's an attempt to soften public opinion about Ghislane before the law catches up with her.

    Once again, the fraudian goes to bat for the rich and powerful.
