Part of simultaneous public get-together this weekend around the world: Stratford Station, East London / 2 - 4pm / this August 24.

From what I can see, you may have missed a fun one last week, which was Lee Camp at the Backyard Club in London for a Free Assange & Manning special. He did a stand-up show, with a very funny section on why 'journalists' don't want to call Assange a journalist.

This August 24, worldwide 'speak-outs' planned. These can be one person sticking some posters in a library, on a street pole, wherever ... or groups of people getting together for a drink. I guess people are encouraged to share a social media snap of whatever modest action they've taken, but it's not required. Could take a photo of a poster in a street and pop it in a letter to Assange at Belmarsh. Assange's latest reply to a letter-writer (photo of it shared yesterday on Twitter) read:

'Thanks, A. Knowing people like you are out there helps me here, in my profound isolation - J.P.A.'
