Chair writes to Michael Gove on no-deal impact and preparations following Operation Yellowhammer report leak 20 August 2019 Inquiry: The progress of the UK's negotiations on EU withdrawal Exiting the European Union Committee Following recent reports regarding the impact of a no-deal Brexit, and the preparations being undertaken by the Government in the form of ‘Operation Yellowhammer’, the Chair of the Committee on Exiting the European Union, Hilary Benn MP, has written to Cabinet Office Minister Michael Gove MP seeking clarification on several issues, and asked him to appear before the Committee in a public evidence session during the first week of September.
