" Study finds that people believe what they read in the paper.. We kind of knew that. It was one of the things that drew me to media lens in the first place, realising how much we are manipulated by what we read. Whether it's the sun, the mirror, the guardian or farmers weekly, if we read anything without exercising logic, reason and a healthy dose of cynicism, insisting on facts to back up everything, we will eventually adopt the perspective of the matter we read. The article doesn't suggest a correct or incorrect outcome, merely that opinions change with reading material. For me it shows how persistently malleable we are to outside motive and how much we should be on guard with all of it.
