Do you remember the name? The place where the injured and those made limbless military personnel were sent to from the killing fields of Iraq and Afghanistan for treatment and rehabilitation.

It has now been flogged off by the MoD to property developers, a new site having been created in the Midlands courtesy of the Duke of Westminster who bought the Hall. His son in law is the gung ho Dan Snow who married his daughter.

'The Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre (DNRC), at Stanford Hall on the Nottinghamshire-Leicestershire border, is due to open in 2018. The facility will replace the outdated Headley Court, in Surrey, where patients are currently treated.'

The Headley Court houses are built in 'sweeping crescents' and cost 'from £425,000.' 'Dale View, a collection of family homes within 22 acres of parkland marks the next chapter in the history of Headey Court, Epsom'. (ex local glossy property magazine which is put through letterboxes)
