We have a great deal of violence happening in Hong Kong presently - its been rather disgusting the vandalism that occurred just this weekend with major attacks on the MTR, which most in Hong Kong need to use on a daily basis - without its smooth operation its difficult to get around, so how so called 'advocates of democracy' can gain support for their confused political stances is beyond me, given they are alienating the average Joe who works his backside off for a pittance - HK minimum wage being less than 4 quid an hour in the most expensive city to live in the World.

Further, we've had the spectacle again of a rabble closing down roads into Central brandishing USA flags everywhere - strange that this happened very close to the US Consulate.

In a nutshell, if these are genuine advocates of democracy and change all I can say is they are going about it in a highly counter-productive manner, specifically assaulting regular folks in the streets for no reason whatsoever sticks me of premeditated assault, rather than fighting for democracy per se.
