The fact that no other older journalists or musicians have stepped forward (other than Brian Eno who tweeted his support of Waters) is sad, too. Also, ironic and amusing. Don't tell me older journalists at The Guardian and BBC and SKY would have given anything to see Rog Waters perform on a London pavement on a Monday afternoon (like The Beatles rooftop concert?). That's why their silence around the Waters concert is so amusing. Medialens surveyed UK national media and found zero mention: the discipline is hilarious. If only Roger had got his guitar out in front of the Russian Embassy, protesting about a Russian dissident... now that would have been a gig!! Luke Harding was photographed in the London streets with anti-Putin group Pussy Riot two years ago: cool public performance art. Pity their music is so awful: a 30-minute sound test usually. Roger Waters would be much more fun, if only he respected the Overton Window Musicians need to be informed of facts around the case: they must've drunk too much Guardian KoolAid. On the younger side, Jeremy Hammond, Chelsea Manning and Ola Bini are all under 30 (or 35) and have their younger supporters, including musicians and artists. This younger set need support getting the facts of their stories out to wider audiences.
