I think the show, the View, massively underestimated Pamela Anderson's ability to defend Assange. I believe she was invited so she could be demolished by the inquisition, as her stepping forward to defend Assange so publically has meaning, has an effect, because so few well-known people dare to stand up truth and freedom.

Dore also makes virtually all the 'progressive' comedy available in the US and UK, look positively tame and really dull. He's doing a great job.

Why doesn't the Guardian dare interview Pamela Anderson? This segment shows why.

And how many people on the left or liberals in the UK even know that these Americans exist, with their views? They're like a breath of fresh air. When the Guardian reports what the night-time talkshows are saying about a subject, which they do quite often because they no they'll be attacking Trump, they never link to Jimmy Dore.

So we have the sad situation where the Guardian steps forward in its new role a the chief censor. We've come to the point in the 'war effort' where they are forced to censor humour.
