Apart from the obvious danger to people living and working in a highly built up areas with tower blocks and the like, the noise for those living under the flight path must have been horrendous. So much for the UK being the vassal state of the US. Occasionally Chinooks from Middle Wallop overfly here. The noise is horrific as their blades beat the air.
