Corbyn is, if anything, a cautious man, not given wild flights of fancy. This can make him look a bit dull and lacking in vigour, compared to Farage and Johnson who unshackled by truth and logic are able to let their anti-EU rhetoric soar into the clear blue skies of fantasy-land where nationalist mirages abound and plenty is to be found. Corbyn's got a really, really, hard job. He's trying desparately to keep the Labour Party together and keep the country together so the polarisation and extremism don't get even worse around Brexit, especially when Brexit turns out not to be a 'cure-all' for the nation's woes. Only it doesn't seem like Corbyn's stance is what the people want. It seems like huge swathes actually want the false rhetoric and a strongman leader, a man of real action, a resolute 'guide' or 'pathfinder' to a brighter and better future, but one that's still steeped in nostalgia for an older world-order.
