I'm reading "The Propgagand Model Today" at the moment and some of the chapters are about trying to apply the PM to film and television. I don't even know how to describe this. It's comedy gold at the same time as making you abandon all hope. You have to watch the short video, at least the first few minutes, to truly get an idea of how ridiculous this is. Really saddened to see Wendell Pierce (the Bunk from The Wire) in this piece of shit from Langley TV. The reviews for this "show" could be a great source for people working on the propaganda model to test how the filters apply to cultural as well as political media, assuming those reviews turn out the way I expect.
