as a follow up to the piece by Tony Cartalucci that you posted down the board, I thought you might be interested in these bits and bobs.
For the record, I think Cartalucci's analysis was pretty simplistic; and drew some conclusions that I'm not sure were justified on the basis of what he had written.
As 350.org is the focus of much of Cartalucci's piece, I thought I'd have a look. I can't say I've extensively researched, but it does seem the Rockefeller foundation(s) divestment from fossil fuels (announcement made in 2014) and their widespread funding of environment groups/legal actions against fossil fuel operators is an interesting angle here. They seem to be going all in. Anyway, here's a couple of links that illustrate from both sides of the argument. Hope it's of interest.
