Full UK media blackout at present, as if this case is of no interest Archived Message

The case in Sweden, framed by CIA with Swedish cooperation and kept going as (FOIA) emails from UK Crown Prosecuting Services show (UK to Sweden: keep case going though you've dropped it twice - "don't get cold feet").
Assange sought asylum due to rational fears as he heard US secret grand jury was preparing indictment. He was right all along about the nature and target of the lawfare and smear campaign against him.
Assange was granted asylum by Ecuador, should have been allowed to move there freely according to the Geneva Conventions. But UK - even though a signatory - broke international law by not allowing him to move freely across UK territory to reach Ecuador.

Being granted asylum is a legal process.
International (Asylum) Law overrides domestic (UK Bail) law.
The UK has broken international law by not respecting Julian's political asylum.

Later, Ecuador's new US-friendly President illegally betrayed Assange and withdrew his asylum, receiving from US million-dollar loans + IMF loans, four days later.

Why didn't Assange's lawyers - at that stage - file for interim measure with the European Court of Human Rights?

    New info:
-- Ecuador allowed outsourced firm to spy 24/7 on Assange since 2018 - feeds went straight to the CIA.
-- Australia calls for release from arbitrary, solitary detention of an Australian citizen in China, but keeps quiet about solitary detention of their Australian citizen in UK.

Lots of shame to be heaped on US, UK, Sweden, Ecuador and Australia - as the case becomes clearer in all its sordid detail, day by day.

Can the Commonwealth be seen to hound and mistreat a Commonwealth citizen (he retains Australian passport) even as it tries to spread the message around - often via the Royal Family - that human rights, media freedom and democracy are at its core?
