It should be no surprise that capital is acting in its own interest. It seems to me right now that the tools available to people who do not own capital will be the same as they always were. If I understand correcty, it not necessarily the capital investment itself that will be harmful. Its the ownership of the resulting infrastructure. Then we have two choices: (a) Deny investors the right to release capital, (b) at some stage in the process or at all stages, strive to take greater ownership. Where we think they are spending wisely, take greater ownership. Where we think they are not, oppose. The fight seems to be the same as it always was, except that if big oil invests profits in big solar infrastructure, at least one doesn't necessarily have to lay one's body in front of the bulldozer. - Regards, Shyaku
