Er - no, Ron, that used to be the way, but now all those horrendously expensive, non-replaceable, and suddenly-obsolete ships are keeping carefully out of the Gulf (at any rate when the risk of actual shooting war becomes acute), because their skippers and their oppos in the Pentagon are aware that their vessels are all defenceless sitting ducks against the latest generation of anti-ship missiles created by Russia, and - of course - the rip-off copies, hordes of which the Iranians now have also; to be augmented by Russian S-400s shortly... The brick-in-the-wasps-nest hysteria in the Swamp just now is the 'Masters of the Universe' dealing collectively - and hilariously tantrumishly - with the huge cognitive dissonance of realising that they're not in charge in the Gulf any more; nor can they do anything effective to keep Syria under their control. And - it becomes ever clearer - Turkey is going to throw in its lot with the emerging Eurasian bloc. Ultra shocking for the Swamp-slimies; intensely schadenfreudische for us.  Moreover, creeping into their consciousness now is the dawning understanding that they're not even in a position to invade, conquer and hold Venezuela; and the Venezuelans are not going to crumple to DC realpolitik voluntarily; nor will their Russian and Chinese friends stand silently by and do nothing to help them - are in fact doing just enough to stymie the Swamp-shites' vile schemes, as we've already seen. But even dissident USAmericans like Ron are so soused in the delusions of their endless Permanent Bullshit Blizzard that they too seem to have difficulty keeping up with just how swift is the decline of the Anglozionist empire right now. |
