Any of this reported in mainstream western media? Some say Russia plays a slow game of chess, as opposed to the west's tiddly-winks. What is noticeable is that they don't often make blanket statements and when they do they tend to be understated, but significant. A senior Russian state actor had this to say yesterday - Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev: "The global system of strategic stability is on the brink of collapse, as a result of the inconsistent and provocative policy of the West". In other news, Iran has joined Russia's online alternative to America's SWIFT: the SPFS. This Russian payment mechanism looks to fatally weaken USA's economic warfare sanctions, now that bankers can bypass the US SWIFT turnstile for the first time.
