It's shameful. The crooks have gone off with the loot again. No punishment either for the other crooks who also benefitted greatly from the flogging off of state owned assets (eg Royal Mail) to the private sector earlier. Insider trading existed and the Chinese walls were a joke. This is an extract from the Sky News report on the abandonment of the Libor Rigging Inquiry. 'Two days later, the SFO launched its investigation, which quickly revealed that the scandal had not been confined to Barclays. At least $9bn (£7bn) has since been paid by banks around the world to settle with financial regulators over Libor-rigging. The court cases of individual traders that followed highlighted some uncomfortable truths about the culture of City trading floors. Lurid telephone transcripts of people glorying in nicknames such as Big Nose, Sarge, The Animal and Lord Libor promising each other bottles of Bollinger champagne and "copious amounts of curry". Transcripts of messages exchanged between those accused of wrongdoing were peppered with swearwords - such as "We just need to f****** smash it" and "he has to jam that s*** tomorrow".' https://news.sky.com/story/the-libor-investigation-may-be-over-but-we-havent-heard-the-last-of-it-11838780 Joe and Josephine Bloggs don't stand a chance of self enrichment like the City sharks. These are the SFO biographies. More jokes. https://www.sfo.gov.uk/about-us/biographies/
