The Tories via Leadsom are just electioneering. Fracking will continue post the election. Here she is in a piece about some of the ultra wealthy, some of them Tories like Rees Mogg and a Tory donor or two. 'Some of Andrea Leadsom’s family income has been derived from offshore interests. Her husband, Benjamin Leadsom, has worked as a director for many years for Peter de Putron, who is married to her sister, Hayley. A donor to the Tory party, De Putron runs a multibillion-dollar hedge fund from Guernsey. He was also the joint owner with his wife of a company, Tyrolese (Malta) Ltd. Incorporated in 2000, De Putron’s company was the single shareholder of the UK-registered Tyrolese (636) Ltd, the Paradise Papers show. Mr Leadsom was a director of the UK entity. It was classified as a “financial intermediation” company, but accounts suggest it has been dormant and was closed in September 2012.' https://www.theguardian.com/news/2017/nov/09/brexiters-put-money-offshore-tax-haven Dig around any Tory and there is usually some sort of stink.
