For some reason it wasn't commented on by the posters, except for Rhis, of course. Extract from my response: This is an amazing article. Scholarly, but accessible. Maps are great. The figures are mind-blowing. For info, I've visited BRI in making, in person, 7 years ago. Unstoppable, hectic. Probably the deeper issue is the climate change, just to underlie the worries we all have. I am more confident that all these new unions described here may be more geared up and adjustable to the long term economic slowdown. I don't think the West is up to it with the 0.01% elite dictating the change.(nwH). Full predictions are a mug's game looking at the erratic global climate.
