| (I know the answer is "brown" but let's not get too literal), but I do feel validated in my "Jam and Jerusalem" (as in "jam today and jam tomorrow" for all -if possible-), opposition to the zeitgeist that has permeated the Green movement all my political life...."Green Wellyism" is; myopic, conceited, cowardly, a thin veneer of radicalism under which beats the heart of true neo-liberalism, passive aggressive, NIMBY, treacherous (E.F said more than that about state intervention/control auntie!), middle-class, often single issue and incapable of joining-the-dots, blinkered (incineration and WiFi tech. are still o.k), uncomfortable with republicanism and politically naive.. |
