RhG - your are just promoting denial - The uncertainty as an excuse for inaction ploy was used used by the tobacco industry and then explicitly by big oil for the past 40 years. It's not credible.
There isn't that much uncertainty, as I said the heat trapping effect of CO2 is just a physical property - there may be dark forces at foot and action or inaction may leave us with the same fate but quietism is the corporate favouring path - nou doubt in my mind.
