Just watched this (ok, on mack's recommendation, but I had planned to anyway). What a treasure that guy is...brilliant, committed and hilarious too. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be passing this one around. (had to transcribe this part): Anyway, like I said, the cypresses do very well here, uh, they’re pretty low maintenance to get ‘em going, and they’re native, so you can’t complain too much; they’re not gonna break loose and get invasive or nuthin’ like that…you know, whatever you decide to plant – and I hope you f*ckin’ do – is gonna be entirely dependent on your region and what’s native there, what isn’t gonna prove to be a horticultural atrocity or overly invasive…but you certainly should do this: just read about it…trial and error…you’re gonna f*ck up a couple a times, some shit dies…whatever, you learn from it…
