Like Peterson, a bit of a neurotic with 'anger issues'. As if you can treat the lyrics of a song as if it's a philosophical treatise or a political programme. Very 'left brain'. Very literal. Misses the poetics, the musicality, the imaginative element. It's quite likely that language emerged out of song. A long way from the reified abstractions beloved by people like Shapiro.
