Thanks for posting, SB. Read Chav Solidarity on a recommendation a few months ago and learned a lot from it. Good to hear D Hunter speak at length on these topics. I agree with those who say that XR, Momentum and other progressive organisations should dedicate more time to working class outreach, but it seems very difficult to find ways of doing that which aren't cringingly patronising. Maybe if we don't all mouth off against 'nihilistic mindless violence' the next time there's an inner city riot that would be a step in the right direction at least. cheers, I |
