    Brrr. Gail is good. She sees the big picture and I assume she expertly uses her sources to squeeze the data into her graphs.

    I kenned the direction of travel as she describes. Renewables depend on fossil fuel. Period.

    Her analysis of the current state of world economy fits in nicely with the historical data e.g. economic slowdown, low oil prices, falling demand. Well, lets see what happens with the BRI. We haven't got an end date there just yet. And I don't see a grand collapse in the immediate offing. Instead, probably, we are likely to see a series of small ones. Climate change anyone?

    Meanwhile, I recall reading that the world population growth is currently faltering and this outcome may yet surprise us.
