I meant to add to the thread earlier about Monbiot's article in which he contrasted Johnson's lying (he called it something else, more politely) and Corbyn's honesty and truthfulness. The comments to this were presumably from people who read Monbiot's articles and are therefore Fraudian readers. I was struck by how many -- it seemed 50/50 -- thought Monbiot was talking through his hat and were on Johnson's side rather than Corbyn's. Did anyone else get the same impression? If true, then as many readers support the tories as they do Labour. |
