    of capitalism.

“Labour has been demonstrating for a while its utter preparedness to go along with mainstream imperialist narratives on many aspects of foreign policy.”

I don't know if anyone has read the Labour manifesto, but it's commitment to NATO is clear.

Some people say that with Corbyn, things will be different this time. They said that with Tony Benn. He seemed like a really good bloke. But what did he do when in power (i.e. administering capitalism – that's what Parliament does)? As British secretary of state for energy, he conspired with the racist apartheid state of South Africa to rob occupied Namibia (then Southwest Africa) of its uranium for British nuclear power and weapons. Not forgetting that Benn supported sanctions against Iraq, the sanctions that killed an estimated 500,000 people mainly children.

Just as media outlets such as the Guardian act like 'fig leaves,' so do politicians like Corbyn. It's important for capitalism, when people are getting angry and wanting fundamental change, that they don't take organised, grass roots action – but instead go down dead end roads, i.e. by voting for someone/something that they think will solve the problems which are brought about by capitalism.

It's not possible to have democracy under capitalism.

But the circus goes on – people are being pushed towards Corbyn, more people go down the dead-end road of taking part in the tweedle dee/tweedle dum election charade. Instead of working people getting involved in grass roots activities in the workplace, in the communities, challenging power – they put noughts and crosses on pieces of paper. Capitalism can't believe its luck.

In the meanwhile, workers will still get victimised in the workplace, get sacked, get exploited. Nothing much changes.

People need to remember that we're up against the state, i.e. the army, the corporate media, the education system, the police, parliamentary democracy etc.

All around us people are taking part in actions against it. Organising this should be a priority, not putting noughts and crosses on a piece of paper every 5 years.
